Job Overview
A Taco Bell franchisee in Italy, Texas is seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations, build high-performing teams, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
This leadership role sets the tone for the restaurant’s culture, service standards, and operational success. You will be responsible for staffing, training, scheduling, performance management, customer satisfaction, and financial results. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the restaurant management and team member workforce
- Hire, onboard, and train new employees while creating individual development plans
- Create schedules and deploy team members to meet operational and service needs
- Drive customer satisfaction through excellent service, food quality, and cleanliness
- Resolve customer concerns and team performance issues professionally and promptly
- Manage restaurant budgets, financial plans, labor costs, and inventory
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, food safety regulations, and workplace policies
- Maintain the restaurant, parking lot, and surrounding grounds in a clean and safe condition
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- 2–4 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail, including P&L responsibility
- Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills
- Basic computer literacy and business math/accounting ability
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Ability to sweep, mop, clean shelves, remove trash, and maintain exterior areas
- Tolerance for physically active work throughout most of the shift
