Job Summary
Samlan Homes Canada is seeking an experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to transport wide loads, including mobile and modular homes. The ideal candidate has a strong safety record, heavy-haul experience, and confidence handling large loads in tight spaces.
Responsibilities
- Operate a semi truck for wide and heavy loads
- Load, unload, and transport mobile and modular homes
- Back up and maneuver loads in tight locations
- Follow all safety rules, permits, and regulations
- Complete company driver training
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record (no accidents or tickets)
- Heavy haul experience (minimum 1 year)
- Valid Class 1 licence
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Physically fit for manual work
- No criminal record
